Once your design is completed, we can deliver your final file:
– via email as an attachment
– upload to our secure Web site for you to download
– upload to your Web site via ftp
– save files onto a CD and deliver via regular post or courier

We believe in ‘unlimited’ revisions until you are happy and not handcuffing you to a specific number of changes. Depending on your schedule and when you require your final files, we are happy altering the intermediate designs until we arrive at a finished design you are completely happy with and are proud to use for years to come.

Wordmark logos: Wordmarks are the most widely used logo type, and are typically comprised of text and a typeface. The text or company name is usually written and given a unique typographic treatment (Microsoft, Yahoo, The Home Depot).

Brandmarks / Iconmarks: A strong yet simple grpahic symbol, that represents the company. This can be realistic or more abstract (Nike swoosh, Apple Computer).

Combination marks: A combination of an iconic symbol along with a wordmark. This is a flexible means of conveying the company name and introducing an element to act as a symbol for the company. The elements can be used separately or together.

It is a natural concern of every client to know their financial commitment before embarking on a project. We wish there was a simple answer to this, however design services are not so easily quantifiable, as requirement varies for each and every project.

As part of our quotation process we will consult with you to define your requirements, scope and specifications of your project, and budget and work with you to create a package that bits your needs and budget. We will then present an itemised quotation for consideration and agreement before embarking on any work.

Once we have completed the design process, and you have paid in full for your final logo design, the copyrights of that final individual logo are then transferred to you and you own them. We own the rights to any creative concepts not chosen.

A logo is a combination of characters, images and/or graphics creating a single design used to identify an individual, business, company, organization, team or school. The logo is typiclly a visual image used as a company trade mark or instead of the company name. When consisting solely of stylized textual elements, such symbols are referred to as logotypes or wordmarks.

A designer is a communicator of your idea, your product and your solution to the world.

With training or experience as a visual communicator and problem solver, a designer will combine your content with elemenets color, typography, line, space, shape and balance to create a finished communications piece for your business or organization. He/she will work with you to explore different options or design directions to solve your particular communications challenge.

A designer will also prepare the ‘mechanical requirements’ of your finished piece and prepare it to the specifications of a printer, magazine, Web host, television studio or any other output medium, to ensure trouble-free output of a final finished product (such as a printed flyer or a Web site).

We accept and prefer secure online payments using your credit card, debit card, or your bank account via PayPal.com. Opening an account is fast, easy, and FREE. We also accept business checks, personal checks, and money orders.

In certain special circumstances, you also may be able to make a barter arrangement, either for goods or services or link exchange arrangement depending on the nature of your business, i.e. non-profit association.

Contracted projects are typically billed in at least two installments for new clients: half payment after half the job is done (typically when the first concepts are presented and the initial feedback has been given), and the remaining half upon completion and delivery of final files.
This condition is waived for repeat clients, requiring only one payment upon project completion.

Hourly quotations are billed at the end of the hours quoted. General maintenance and other non-contracted work is billed at US$75 per hour, billed monthly.

However, other billing arrangements are possible upon agreement by both parties.

Invoices are submitted via e-mail as a Word, Excel or PDF file, or via fax, or (upon request) via postal mail.

Payment is due fourteen (14) days from receipt of invoice for North American clients; international clients are given a grace period of thirty (30) days.

Late payments will be charged additional interest fees or penalties.

Yes! We are happy to work on small projects; anything from minor edits to a Web site to altering a graphic or logo. Smaller projects are often hourly rated. Contact us to discuss your small project.

We wish there is a straight answer to this, however design services are not so easily quantifiable as requirement varies for each and every project.

We have two types of billing depending on your design job :
a) Net Price – per-project price, pre-determined at the start of the project or
b) Hourly rated – billed according to the time utilised.
Clients are updated regularly on their project by our time-log and status reports.

We offer a FREE, no-obligation quotation process, to help define the scope and specification of each project. We are flexible and can work within any budget constraints you may have.
We do not believe in disappointing anybody with any form of hidden cost. It is our policy to be transparent with our clients with all costs itemized prior to the start of any project. Any changes and adjustments are then made and agreed upon by both sides before embarking on any work.

No, we do not provide printing and output services directly. We just done desktop publishing, that makes your design ready for output setup for printing.  We can recommend reputable online and local printers at your request. Because our clients are located throughout the globe, it is far more expedient for proofing and more cost-effective and faster for shipping if you deal with a local printer. We can act as an intermediary with your printer, or simply provide you with the final files to take to your printer. Printing is typically not included in any of our project quotations.

Yes, there are no geographic obstacles to working together, thanks to the Internet and telecommunications. Your requirements can be submitted by email or phone. Once we have agreed on your needs, the provided information is used to create your designs. Yes. We can redesign existing sites and retain your organization’s style or give you a completely new look. Greenbd-IT also can provide a free website evaluation. We will show you how your site can take advantage of the latest Web technologies.

If the website we have designed for you includes a content management system (CMS), then you can access your administrative areas from anywhere as long as you have an Internet connection. You can make updates instantly and as frequently as you wish. If your website is smaller and designed without a CMS, you can update the HTML pages yourself. Greenbd-IT also can update it for you.

Static Web pages always look the same and the content rarely changes. To make a change, you must create the page yourself or request a Web designer to do it for you. The newly created page and any images must then be uploaded to the Web servers.
Dynamic pages are the opposite. They can change every time they are loaded (without anyone having to make those changes), and they can even change their content based on what your website visitors do.
The dynamic page can be created to respond to information entered by your site’s visitor. They usually store and pull information from an underlying database.
Dynamic sites can reduce ongoing maintenance costs if you don’t want to change things yourself with a Web page editor. They usually cost more to develop, as they require more complex coding. A content management utility also needs to be developed to help you manage your site.
Many clients have a combination of dynamic and static elements in their sites. For instance, they might use dynamic pages for a product catalog where they have to change information or pictures regularly. The “Contact” and “About Us” pages are often left as static pages.

Yes, Greenbd-IT is a one-stop shop. You do not have to worry about who to call if you have problems. We can take care of everything from registering your domain name and designing your site to building it and maintaining it for years to come.

No. We discuss your website requirements and price accordingly. Once you have placed your order with us, we will adhere to our quoted price.

Please provide all text, photos and graphics in electronic form. For example, the output from a digital camera, Microsoft Word or a digital scanner. If this is not possible, we can help get your information ready for the website.

We fully support any website we design and are always available should you encounter any problems or require new enhancements. Greenbd-IT also offers website hosting and maintenance.

Most of the time, a meeting isn’t necessary and the work is completed with only discussions over phone and email. We upload our work to private websites that only clients can access. We then work with you to discuss the site and review changes. The site isn’t made available to the public until it looks and works exactly as you wish.

The choice of domain name depends on how you plan to use it. In most cases, it makes sense to choose one that is easy to pronounce and spell if you will be telling people about it over the phone. Above all, you should choose a name that is memorable and not confusing.

YES! Everything that we build will be 100% owned by you. Most of our clients stay with us for the life of the website. Our team is just irresistible that way. But if for any reason you decide you want to take your site to another hosting service and get another company to service the site, we will happily assist you in making the transition as effortlessly and efficiently as possible. The website is yours after all, and we want you to take it wherever you go.

Yes. We include copy writing and editing in all of our proposals. We also build your sitemap and help structure the foundation of your website in the planning stages.

No. We only support websites that we have fully built. We have this policy so that we can 100% stand behind everything that we craft. There are issues of liability of multiple programmers touching the same code over time. But you may rebuild your site newly with existing contents with us.

No. We are exclusively a WordPress CMS firm. In choosing to build with one platform over the past 3 years, we have become experts in WordPress and can create extremely custom solutions for our clients.

We build all of our websites on the open-source Content Management System (CMS) platform called WordPress.

This is a great question to ask and you should ask it of any web design and development firm you are considering. Many firms will farm out work to freelancers or interns. Some firms give little or no access to client’s who want to speak directly with their designers or developers. Our clients work directly with our developers. Who that will be depends on your project needs and what stage of the process you are in during the project.

Our standard websites take approximately 20 days to create. Our E-commerce (online store) websites take approximately 30 days to create. This time will vary from project to project.

The project starts with a 50% deposit. After design sign off and before we move into programming, we collect 25%. Once we have completed and fulfilled our scope, the final 25% is collected and your website is then scheduled for launch.

The cost of a website can vary depending on various factors, just like the cost of a house may vary. Though our website projects generally start in the $100 range for basic business sites and range upward depending on your unique needs.

Yes and at no cost! You 100% own everything that Greenbd-IT creates for you and if requested we will provide a one-time full backup of your website. If additional backups are needed there is a minimal cost of generally $10 for 30 minutes of labor.

Greenbd-IT backs up all of our client’s websites daily, weekly and monthly on rotation to a 3rd party secure server out of the location of our web server. Our CMS we use called WordPress also includes version control that saves a restore point of a page every time it is saved. If a site is needed to be fully restored, there is no cost to the client.

All websites that Greenbd-IT created must live in our servers. However, if at any time you wish to move to a new web firm + web host, we will package up your site at no cost to send to the new firm. Though at that time, we will no longer be able to support your site. The company we use for web hosting is a datacenter called www.greenbd-it.com. We are housed in the Chicago Data Center. On top of that Greenbd-IT also has a 3rd party 24/7/365 security and monitoring team, so even when we are all sleeping, your server is being watched over.
